Hello all,

Following the steps in kb 822444 (How to reset system folders in Exchange
Server 2003) Whenever I use the GUIDGEN.exe tool to generate a new GUID for
the system folder, and when I put the new GUID in the ADSIeidt it gives me
the following error:

"invalid format. A hexadecimal string must contain sets of tow digits
between 0 and FF. each set must be separated by a space. (I.e. "00 12 3A
FF")"

I've ADSIedit for Windows 2003 and I even tried all the formats:

For example:
0x72 0xD9 0x69 0x1F 0xA2 0x19 0x4b 0x79 0x8F 0x24 0xC0 0xF6 0xE5 0xD2 0x11
0x5F
And:
72 D9 69 1F A2 19 4b 79 8F 24 C0 F6 E5 D2 11 5F
And:
00 72 D9 FF 00 69 1F FF 00 A2 19 FF 00 4b 79 FF 00 8F 24 FF 00 C0 F6 FF 00
E5 D2 FF 00 11 5F FF

Anyone know the reason for the error? and how to accomplish resetting system
folders???

Thanks
